I have full enhanced DBS, PLI, and ICO certification plus safeguarding, moving and handling, GDPR and control of infectious diseases training.
Working as a Rehabilitation Assistant under many fantastic professionals my career in rehabilitation began in 2014. Since then i have undertaken continual personal development and have developed a specialism in rehab in the outdoors. Not afraid to get my hands dirty, and to encourage my clients to do the same, i have a strong belief that great rehab should stretch outside the gym and clinic.
I have been providing RA support to Physiotherapists, Neurotherapists, Speech and Language therapists, plus autonomously running an open hydrotherapy group.
I also have a number of skills and qualifications that may be useful for your client’s needs, i am a qualified Mountain bike coach, ski instructor, snowboard instructor, rock climbing instructor and paddlesport instructor.
I can also offer the services of my partner Lesley Dodson, also a very experienced Rehab Assistant, but with 17 yrs experience in primary education with a specialist knowledge in Speech and language, and visual impairments.

About me : Happy to work tirelessly to find a way to work alongside clients various disabilities to allow them to accomplish their goals. Recently projects have included helping clients build and maintain vegetable gardens, as well as a more adventurous client who wanted taking on Skateboard ramps in his wheelchair, If it can help a client with rebuilding their physical skills, their life skills or just an improvement in their level of happiness, i am happy to turn my hand to anything needed
Away from Work : Multi skilled outdoor sports instructor, Climbing, Snowboard, Ski, Mountain Bike coach, he runs a number of small businesses. I like to travel, and am currently mid-way through a challenge to spend 1 night In every county in the UK with my partner.
